Advertising on Cornerstonepolitics
Our readers come here to understand how government decisions get made. Ads can sit next to that work. They can't shape it.
Who reads the site
We're a new publication, so we won't quote traffic numbers we can't yet back up. Here's who we write for: South Carolina voters, especially in Horry County, Myrtle Beach, Conway and the Grand Strand; students and teachers; journalists and researchers; local-government watchers; and national readers who want civic explainers with the sources attached. Ask us for current analytics and we'll share what we have.
Formats
- Leaderboard (728×90): below the navigation and between article sections.
- Square (300×250): in article bodies, sidebars and the homepage flow.
- Skyscraper (160×600): in the desktop sidebar.
- Sponsored articles: clearly labeled as sponsored at the top, written or approved separately from our editorial staff, and never presented as independent reporting.
Editorial independence
Advertisers don't see articles before publication, can't request coverage and can't ask us to change or remove anything we've written. We don't run ads from campaigns, parties or political action committees next to coverage of those same races. Legal pages carry no ads at all. If an advertiser becomes the subject of a story, we'll disclose the relationship in that story.
